What a way to end my weekend!
My friend's boyfriend texted us (my friend's barkada) to tell us some "great news".
Turns out my friend is pregnant and is about to give birth in December.
That would have been alright with us. We'd be shocked and disappointed at first but in the end, we'll still be there to support and help her, er, them. But since we found out a month before she was to give birth, that disappointment part was replaced by hurt.
But we've talked since then. We're supporting them now, which is why I trooped over to the mall to buy stuff for Nico (that's the baby's name) for the baby shower this Sunday.
Nico, the Christmas baby. We'll be waiting for you. :) |
