Plagiarist of the Year |
Thanks to Pam, results are in for Plagiarist of the Year and it goes to Ms. Yamashita Keiko! Did you think you'd be this famous? Criminally famous, that is.
Okay, just some updates about the fight against blog piracy.
1. Blogger Power - formulated to fight the battle against plagiarism.
2. Apparently, Gabby, Steph and Pam aren't the only victims. She also took some posts from a couple of other blogs.
You might be wondering how everyone found out about this though. Thanks to Cindy who wrote to Pam that she noticed something fishy about the two blogs. She wrote to Pam and the rest is this.
Some people have been saying that yes it was stealing but that it, as bloggers who post our thoughts and even works on the net, is a risk we have to take. I don't know about him but copying someone's post and passing it off as his own is just not a risk that everyone should go through. Yes stealing is stealing no matter what its form is. It's not just a matter plagiarising but a matter of principle. Why would any decent person do something like that? Stealing is stealing. And stealing can never be justified.
