Went to Shangri-La yesterday and was bored out of my mind. I do not recommend the bookstore and the music store there. Kulang na kulang sila sa gamit. I would rather have gone to Megamall or Powerplant but I needed to get that jacket si Daddy had altered eh. I was able to buy a copy of Gigi and An American In Paris. Hmmm...What is it with classics huh? I seem to be drawn to them lately.
Anyway, I just finished writing the reviews for next month's issue of Rad. Migoodness. 3 albums and 5 songs, took me more than a week to do it! This is really the rock issue for my column coz I reviewed 3 rock CDs and 4 rock songs. Just have to finish the movie review I'm doing. I'm writing Gangs of New York. I'm thinking if I should write about Amores Perros. Hmmm...
I have a new favorite singer, besides Norah Jones and India Arie, it's Alice Peacock and Ryan Adams! Their songs are so great! It's so easy to listen to and to chill out with. That's what I'm looking for really: music that I can chill out to. Although, I do love Evanescence's album, Fallen, even though it's really depressing.
I'll be going to the gym in a little while and then on to SM Fairview to get my DVD of the new Harry Potter movie.
Migoodness. I've been so tired lately that I don't have the chance to think about things. Sometimes I miss that. I miss wondering about the world and the different things in it. I especially miss thinking about people and why people are the way they are.
Oh well....
I'm going to Tagaytay tomorrow. Finally. After 4 months, I get to go back! I'll be leaving for Boracay in three weeks! Yey! Can't wait to go back there and just forget about everything here in Manila. |
