| Cold Mountain |
Caught today's first screening of Cold Mountain at the Powerplant Mall this afternoon (so cold!). It's not Anthony Minghella's best work, that's for sure. It's started good at first but started to dwindle as the movie progressed. He tried to be too faithful to the book that it seemed like he was narrating to the viewers the story instead of showing it to them.
But Jude Law and Renee Zellweger's acting was impressive. They deserve their nomination and, in Zellwegger's case, win.
On a side note: I wish I were Nicole Kidman in the movie! |
